1.) How long does it take to have out project started after the proposal is accepted and the deposit is paid?

Generally 2-3 weeks.  However there are variables that can make it take less or more time such as what time of year it is when you’re ready to move forward with your project. What township you live in and how long it takes to have your permit issued. Whether you’re proposing to install a fence that requires extra applications in your township such as a variance. The most common reasons you may need a variance are; you live in a corner home and your fence will be in the back and on the side of your house. If you want a fence that’s not permitted in your township. For example an 8 foot high fence is not permitted in some areas but a variance may be issued in certain circumstances or a certain type of material may be prohibited but could be allowed through an approved variance.

2.) What type of material requires the least amount of maintenance?

Vinyl, Aluminum, and chainlink require the least amount of maintenance.

3.) How long will my fence last?

Pressure Treated Wood can last 25 years if installed correctly. Even longer if sealed throughout the years.

Vinyl, aluminum, and chainlink can all last a lifetime when properly taken care of and installed correctly

4.) Who files for the permit?

Generally the homeowner files for the permit, however we will provide the insurance certifications, the site plans, and the signed proposal needed to file.

5.) How do I file for the permit?

We will provide all of the paperwork required. The application and documents required just need to be dropped off at your township’s code agency building.

6.) Can you file for the permit for us?

We do offer permit filing as a service.

7.) Do I need to be home during our installation?

No, it’s not necessary that you are present although we do appreciate when the homeowner is home incase our installers have a question or need to change something.  If you cannot be home, we understand and we will call you if any questions arise. However our crew will need access to a power source.
